Two Contracts - An Announcement

Just wanted to make a quick announcement! I’ve recently had two separate novels accepted for publication with small indie presses, and this morning I signed both contracts. Not revealing too much now, but the first should be out early next year and the other one probably mid-to-late 2024. I’ll keep everyone posted!

Here are the two—

“Help Me I Am in Hell” follows the first person exploits of a disturbed hypochondriac and his frantic abuse of drugs, booze and women in an effort to assuage the constant barrage of anxiety and fear that assaults him as he weaves his way through the dark underbelly of Los Angeles in search of his next fix. The novel is crass, edgy and taut, told from the stream-of-consciousness perspective of a mind suffocating from addiction and mental illness.

“1999” is the story of a pair of disturbed teenagers during the post-Columbine summer of 1999. Having known each other and been close friends for their entire lives, their existences are upended when a new and very attractive young woman moves into the neighborhood, sparking a series of increasingly obsessive and deranged acts as the two teens attempt navigating their feelings for one another amidst the desire of one of them to make the young woman fall in love with him. What follows is a dark, often gruesome exploration of pre-social media adolescence at the very cusp of a new millennium, where the future appears anything but assured.
